New update for Homeworks, including several improvements and bug fixes:
Improvements
Messaging: Text customers about their visits in bulk. Send a message, or one of your message templates, to the customers of selected visits, with visit details filled in automatically.
Locations: More accurate addresses on the map. Addresses are checked before a pin is placed, so placeholders like "TBD", PO boxes, and cross-border addresses no longer land in the wrong place. New and edited addresses map as soon as you save them, and upcoming visits move with a property when its address changes.
API: Custom field values can now be read through the API on visits, invoices, estimates, and properties, so your integrations can use them directly.
Invoicing: Invoices now link back to their estimate, so you can see which estimate an invoice came from.
Estimates: Estimate line items now show whether each line is included.
Visits: New visit filters: property address, crew, and customer mobile number.
Schedule: A high-contrast text option for each schedule color.
Invoicing: Visits with a paid or partially paid invoice can no longer be reopened, which protects payments you have already received. If you try to reopen one, the app explains why the action is blocked.
Performance: Customer lists, invoices, and payments load faster on large accounts.
API: Wiki pages can now be read through the API.
API: Read-only access is now enforced for read-only API tokens, including the Intercom Fin assistant, so read-only integrations cannot make changes.
Calendar: Event types now have a new color picker with 9 preset swatches plus a custom color picker and hex input. You can also switch an event type to high contrast, which fills its calendar cards with the full color so they are easier to spot.
Calendar: A new search box narrows the calendar as you type. It matches event titles, customer names, locations, phone numbers, emails, services, and crew, even when those details are hidden on the event cards.
Bug Fixes
Estimates: Editing one field on an estimate line item no longer clears its price or quantity.
Properties: Re-saving a property without changing its address no longer risks losing its map location.
Custom Fields: A custom date now shows its new value right after you change it.
Mobile (Field Force): Stopping a timer late now keeps the time you tapped, even if the visit had already stopped on its own.
Calendar: Fixed an unwanted horizontal scroll in landscape mode, so the calendar page no longer shifts sideways on wide screens.
