Bug Fixes and Improvements

New update for Homeworks, including several bug fixes and improvements:

Bug Fixes

• Events: Fixed bulk event completion so the scheduled date can be used as the invoice date.
• Recurring Visits: Fixed automatically extended series so new visits retain forms, custom fields, documents, tags, services, and assigned employees.
• Events: Fixed an error that could occur when creating a visit without an AI-generated description.
• Payments: Fixed an error that could prevent Stripe refunds from processing correctly.
• Schedule: Fixed an issue where removing a visit’s start time set it to midnight instead of clearing it.
• Dispatch Board: Fixed SMS recipient counts so duplicate customer visits no longer inflate the number of recipients or estimated message cost.
• Reports: Updated Revenue by City and Revenue by County reports to group revenue by service location instead of billing address for more accurate reporting.
• Customers: Fixed the Recurring Last Service Date filter so it only includes customers whose latest completed recurring visit falls within the selected dates.
• Dark Mode: Fixed unreadable confirmation and error messages so dialogs display clearly in both light and dark modes.
• Onboarding: Fixed an issue that prevented new customers from receiving their onboarding sequences.
• API: Fixed an issue where queries with conflicting filters on the same related data could silently return incomplete results. The API now returns a clear error instead of incorrect data.
• Reporting API: Fixed report queries that sort grouped results, preventing avoidable query errors and returning results more reliably.

Improvements

• API Access: Added API trial access for Enterprise and limited for Growth plans and improved API activity tracking.
• Routing: Added total drive time and budgeted work time to route data, supporting better route comparisons and capacity planning.
• Payments: Added payee information for expense payments, making it easier to identify the customer, vendor, equipment, or employee associated with each payment.
• Events: Improved event loading performance by removing unnecessary form lookups.
• Customers: Added a Recurring Series End Date filter to help identify customers whose recurring services end within a selected date range.
• Admin API: Added reporting queries for companies, SMS usage, subscription changes, app activity, and users, making administrative data easier to access.
• Scheduling API: Added clearer capacity fields and daily capacity overrides, allowing integrations to adjust an employee’s available hours for specific dates.
• Calendar: Added API support for setting separate colors for visits, meetings, maintenance, and to-dos.
• API: Cleaned up ambiguous and incorrectly typed fields in the public schema, making available data clearer and safer for integrations to use.
• MCP: Improved query guidance so AI assistants can retrieve reports and related data more reliably.
