Bug Fixes and Improvements

New update for Homeworks, including several bug fixes and improvements:

Bug Fixes

• Integrations: Fixed a crash during the "Sign in with Copilot" flow that prevented some P4P accounts from reconnecting to Homeworks, which was causing "Error Fetching Attendance" on time cards.
• Customers: Fixed an issue where the "Requested on" date on Work Request forms always showed today's date instead of the actual submission date, so new requests now display the correct date and older affected requests hide the field rather than showing incorrect information.
• Marketplace: Fixed long item and service names that ran off the row inside multi-select dropdowns on the Add Bundle page, so names now wrap cleanly and stay readable.
• Invoicing: Fixed the credit apply popup so it only appears when it is actually relevant, either when the customer has an existing credit balance or when a payment exceeds the invoice total, instead of showing on every payment.
• Invoicing: Fixed the credit apply popup so closing it with the X button now cancels the action and returns to the payment form, instead of silently submitting the payment without applying credit.
• Schedule: Fixed an issue where Budgeted Hours were reset to zero when extending a recurring visit series, so the original values now carry over to the newly created visits.
• Schedule: Fixed extending a recurring visit series so assigned employees, visit forms, custom fields, and template photos are now copied to the newly created visits instead of being dropped.
• Schedule: Improved handling of cancelled visits inside recurring series so saving or moving a series with past cancelled visits no longer triggers unnecessary background errors.
• SMS: Added a safeguard so the system no longer attempts to send a text message to the same number it is sending from, preventing failed send errors on affected sequences.
• SMS: Improved handling of automations and sequences when a company has no Twilio phone number configured, so failed SMS attempts no longer create repeated background errors.
• Billing: Fixed an issue where creating a new company subscription could fail due to a Stripe billing configuration mismatch, so new subscriptions now set up successfully on the first try.
• Customers: Fixed an issue where the Text and Email buttons on a customer profile said the customer had no phone number or email, even when one was saved. Both buttons now correctly detect the contact info and open the compose window, including for international phone numbers.
• Invoicing: Fixed an issue where bulk "Send by Regular Mail" silently succeeded for customers without an address. Invoices and estimates missing address information are now skipped with a clear error message, and stamps are only deducted for items that were actually sent.
• Invoicing: Fixed an issue where the invoice date was set to today's date when closing a visit scheduled for a prior date, even after choosing the scheduled date. Invoices now use the date you select.
• Schedule: Fixed an issue where the Budgeted Hours on a To-do reverted to zero after saving when the value was pasted or autofilled, so budgeted hours now save reliably no matter how you enter them.
• Tax Rates: Fixed tax rate lookups following a ZipTax API change so taxes continue to calculate correctly.
• Performance: Improved tag loading to reduce database slowdowns and page timeouts.
• Estimates: Fixed an issue that could prevent customers from completing payments for accepted estimates.
• Payments: Fixed errors caused by older payments with missing or unsupported payment methods.
• Mobile: Fixed missing push notifications when crews are assigned to visits through All Events.
• Schedule: Fixed an issue where Visit Forms beyond the first 100 could not be found when editing a visit.
• Invoicing: Fixed incorrect service totals on visits created or updated through certain scheduling workflows.
• Payments: Fixed an issue that prevented Payments report PDFs from being generated.

Improvements

• Invoicing: Updated the credit apply popup wording so it clearly explains that the customer already has a credit balance and asks whether to apply it to other outstanding invoices.
• Marketplace: Updated the Add Bundle page to use the standard breadcrumb heading, keeping page titles and navigation consistent with the rest of the app.
• Marketplace: Adjusted horizontal spacing on the Add Bundle page so content aligns correctly on medium and larger screens.
• SMS: Added support for detecting STOP and OPT-IN keywords on incoming text messages, so customers who reply STOP are automatically opted out and future messages to them are blocked to keep sending compliant.
• Billing: Added a new SMS usage section to the Billing page so you can see how many messages you've used and what will appear on your invoice.
• Billing: Added an alert on the Billing page that clearly explains how SMS charges work, so there are no surprises when reviewing your invoice.
• Mobile: Refined the mobile navigation with smoother menus, clearer notifications, and easier access to settings.
• Employee Management: Added a View Only calendar permission and made Complete & Invoice the default, giving admins clearer control over employee access.
